Where are you located?

Sweet Valley Farm – The Harvest Barn
1146 Camp John Hope Rd
Fort Valley, GA

We are located off Hwy 341 in Fort Valley.

What are your summer hours?

Starting July 3, our summer hours are:

Saturday: 10am to 2pm
Sunday: 10am to 2pm

Friday is delivery only. We are not open for walk-in shopping on Fridays.

We moved to earlier summer hours because the Barn gets very hot in the afternoon. This helps protect our customers, volunteers, staff, and produce quality.

Hours may change due to weather, heat, inventory, holidays, or special events. Please check our website or most recent Facebook post before coming.

Are you open on Fridays?

No. We are not open for walk-in shopping on Fridays.

Friday is for scheduled deliveries only.

Please visit Saturday or Sunday from 10am to 2pm for walk-in shopping.

Can I shop without a preorder?

Yes. Walk-in shopping is welcome during our open shopping hours.

You do not need a preorder to shop the Barn on Saturday or Sunday. You may come during open hours and build your own basket with the items your family needs most.

What is a Harvest Bag?

Our Harvest Bag is a prepacked produce bag that includes a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables for one low price.

The Harvest Bag is designed to help families stretch their grocery dollars and bring home fresh, real food at an affordable price.

Harvest Bags are available by preorder while supplies last.

Do I have to preorder a Harvest Bag to shop?

No. Preordering a Harvest Bag is optional.

You have two ways to shop:

Preorder a Harvest Bag and let us do the picking for you.

Or visit during open shopping hours and choose your own produce from the Barn.

What comes in the Harvest Bag?

The Harvest Bag changes based on availability, quality, and season.

During the summer, some core items may repeat each week, while other items rotate depending on what is fresh, available, and affordable.

We do our best to post the weekly Harvest Bag list before the weekend.

What happens when Harvest Bags sell out?

Once Harvest Bags are sold out, they are sold out.

You may still visit the Barn during open shopping hours to shop from available walk-in produce, while supplies last.

Can I change or cancel my preorder?

We are unable to make preorder changes through Messenger, text, phone calls, or comments.

Can I call or message for the address, hours, or Harvest Bag list?

Why did your hours change?

During the summer, the Barn gets very hot. Starting July 3, we are moving to earlier summer hours from 10am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

This allows customers to shop while the Barn is cooler, helps protect produce quality, and creates a safer, better experience for our customers, volunteers, and staff.

What if I arrive close to closing time?

We recommend coming early.

The Barn is open while supplies last, and popular items may sell out before closing.

During hot weather or low inventory, we may close the gate early.

Do you restock during the day?

We restock as we are able, but many items are limited.

The best selection is usually available earlier in the day.

Are children welcome?

Yes. Families are welcome at the Harvest Barn.

Please keep children close to you while shopping, especially around produce tables, vehicles, and farm areas.

Do you have a restroom?

We provide a portable restroom for customer use during open shopping hours.

Can I volunteer?

Yes. We welcome volunteers when help is needed.

Volunteer opportunities may include setup, packing Harvest Bags, sorting produce, assisting customers, cleanup, and special event support.

Please check our website or current volunteer form for available shifts.

Can students work at the Barn?

Yes. Student work opportunities may be available depending on the season, schedule, and need.

Students are expected to work assigned shifts and communicate in advance if they need to swap or miss a shift.

Do you sell out?

Yes. Many weekends, popular items sell out quickly.

We recommend shopping early, especially for Harvest Bags, watermelons, peaches, corn, tomatoes, greens, and other seasonal favorites.

Can I reserve walk-in produce?

No. Walk-in produce is first come, first served.

Harvest Bags and delivery must be preordered when available.

Do you grow all the produce?

Some produce comes from Sweet Valley Farm, and some is sourced from trusted produce suppliers and local/regional growers when available.

Our goal is to offer fresh, affordable, quality produce for our community.
